Zachary Brandon United States, 19, Senior

Zachary Brandon is a 2021 Bachelor of Music candidate at the Colburn Conservatory of Music where he studies with Robert Lipsett. Zachary was the 4th place Laureate in the International Stradivarius Violin Competition and the 4th Prize winner in the Cooper International Violin Competition. He was a two-time finalist and the Bach prizewinner in the International Stulberg Competition. Additionally, he was a semi-finalist in the International Princess Astrid Music Competition and finished in the top six.
“I am incredibly honoured and excited to compete in the Menuhin Competition. I have confidence that this experience will push me to achieve greater heights as a musician. To me, it represents a major milestone in my musical development. It also represents an opportunity for me to make friends in the music world that will last a lifetime. I am looking forward to meeting the renowned Jury, visiting the beautiful city of Geneva, and most of all, performing the pieces I have prepared for an international audience.”
