Join three of our internationally-acclaimed jurors as they perform an intimate recital in the stunning hall of the Conservatoire de musique de Genève. The programme has a distinctly Central and Eastern European flavour, from Dvořák’s Romantic Pieces and Janáček’s Violin Sonata to Prokofiev’s solo sonata and Heifetz’s arrangement of Gershwin’s Three Preludes. The programme culminates with Violin Sonata No. 3 by Menuhin’s cherished teacher George Enescu, a work which Menuhin considered to be Enescu’s finest.
