Film Cycle: “The Art of Violin”

Embark on a fascinating journey of music's powerful impact on society through a series of documentaries. 

Bruno Monsaingeon captures some of the most respected violinists of the 20th century, such masters as Joseph Szigeti, Yehudi Menuhin, and David Oistrakh, in some of the most recognizable pieces in the classical canon.

Bruno is a Paris-based concert violinist, writer and film director who has devoted his lifetime to the making of musical films. His films portray some of the most legendary performers of our time (Yehudi Menuhin, Glenn Gould, Sviatoslav Richter, David Oistrakh) and have gained worldwide acclaim. He has also filmed artists at the start of their brilliant careers; Piotr Anderszewski, Valeriy Sokolov & David Fray. All these films have won prestigious awards at international festivals.
