Competition: Senior semi-finals

Wednesday 18 April
10am - 12.50pm

Nine Senior semi-finalists will play for their place in the coveted Senior Finals. This round features chamber music collaboration in Beethoven’s String Quartets and world premiere performances of a new commission, Half Tiger, Half Poet by Yair Klartag, winner of the 2nd Prize of the Concours de Genève Composition Award 2017. Each competitor will also have the artistic freedom to programme a virtuoso piece with or without piano and another work of their choice.

Accompanists: Ernest Quartet, Saya Hashino and Nicola Eimer.

Audience may come and go in between individual recitals.
